Behind the console

I'm a full-stack engineer who believes the best compliment software can get is that nobody noticed it — it loaded fast, it did the job, it got out of the way.

For the last several years I've built for startups, agencies, and my own stubborn curiosity: realtime dashboards, commerce APIs, offline-first field tools, and a podcast platform with strong opinions about audio quality. The common thread is systems that stay simple under pressure — boring technology, deliberately arranged.

How I work

• Speed is a feature. Performance budgets from day one, not as a launch-week panic.
• The database is the app. Get the data model right and half the codebase disappears.
• Ship the walking skeleton. End-to-end and ugly beats polished and imaginary.

Off the clock I'm probably tuning a synth patch, contributing to open source, or explaining to someone — again — that SQLite is fine in production.

This site is its own case study: Laravel, SQLite, server-rendered Blade, and a custom admin. No page weighs more than a floppy disk.
